A family of print designs for the Children & Young People Service, a department of Wrexham County Borough Council.

Wrexham County Borough Council were very happy with my work from 2009 for the Fostering Service. As a result, a related department invited me to redesign their leaflets to align with the Fostering Service brand.

The brochures had to appeal to children whilst being clear for adults, maintaining a careful balance between a friendly image and the serious subject matter. The brochures were to be printed in both English and Welsh, so I used bold typography and colours to create the brand image - avoiding the need for an awkward bilingual logo. The colour scheme varies for different age bracket groups, which helps the care workers visually differentiate between forms.
